Probably one of the most boring main characters I have ever tried to read about. I eventually gave up, even after meeting more interesting characters like his brother and aunts (grandmothers?). Sure, a main character needs to have flaws, but there also has to be something interesting about him to keep us reading. Otherwise he's just a mundane, normal person, not story material. I love other Gaiman books, but this one was not for me.
