Though it's the same world and characters, I liked this way better than Alloy of Law. This is also the first time that I really noticed the cosmere coming together within the text of the story itself (other than random mentions of Hoid in other books). It'll be interesting to see what the author does with this overarching idea of linking all his worlds together.
